Cookie Policy

01What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help us provide a more intentional and seamless experience on Canvaforce. They allow us to remember your login status, workspace preferences, and AI context without requiring constant re-authentication.

At Canvaforce Platform Limited, we use both first-party cookies (set by us) and third-party cookies (set by our security and infrastructure partners, including Haqqman Technology Limited) to maintain platform integrity.

02Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are vital for the technical operation of Canvaforce. Without them, core features like Repository access and Workspace management would not function.

  • Authentication: Keeps you logged in as you navigate between different project streams.
  • Security: Protects your account from unauthorized CSRF attacks and session hijacking.
  • Load Balancing: Distributed by our Pan-African CDN partners to route traffic to the nearest server for optimal performance.

03Performance & Preferences

These cookies allow us to optimize the Platform based on how you interact with our features.

  • AI Context Persistence: Remembers your most recent Copilot prompts within the current session for faster follow-up.
  • Workspace State: Stores your preferred sidebar layout (collapsed/expanded) and theme settings across different devices.
  • Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized usage data that helps us understand which repository features are most used to guide our engineering roadmap.

04Marketing & Third-Party Tracking

Transparency Commitment: Canvaforce does not use "Behavioral Advertising" cookies. We do not track your activity on third-party websites to serve you ads, nor do we sell your usage patterns to marketing brokers.

Any third-party cookies on our site are strictly for infrastructure support (e.g., payment processing via Stripe or cloud telemetry via Supabase).

05How to Control Cookies

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. However, if you limit the ability of websites to set cookies, you may worsen your overall user experience, as it will no longer be personalized to you. It may also stop you from saving customized settings like login information.

To manage cookies on Canvaforce, you can use our built-in Preference Center (located in the bottom-left of the platform) or adjust your browser settings.

06Policy Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Please re-visit this Cookie Policy regularly to stay informed about our use of cookies and related technologies.
